Friday

It's Friday, It's Friday!! Katie and I are staying in today, especially after I saw the dusting of snow on the ground and the 10 degree temp on the weather channel. Sarah has her first sleepover tonight, she's excited and I'm nervous. I think she'll do fine, she's so social and independent. Turning 6 and she's already leaving the house :) Yesterday we had a fantastic lunch with a new friend and then had dinner with my MIL, it was a nice day spending time with people.

Nothing else exciting here. Looking forward to our long weekend at home, don't tell Dave but I have a growing to-do list for him...again :)

Thought I'd snap a picture of this little cutie, guess she wasn't as excited

I treated myself to a mini Keurig and I love it!

Hope you have a great Friday!
Cheers

Monday!

Feeling alone...Sarah and Dave went back to school today and left me and Katie at home. We had a cozy, in-home week during this Thanksgiving break. Sarah got sick Wednesday night which left us unable to attend any family gatherings. In was a perfect time for our family of four to be together and spend some time with no plans to tend to.
I have some thoughts floating around in my head that I want to work out before I share; such as, being someone's priority, not being everyone's afterthought...deep I know :) Maybe it's the pregnant hormones or maybe it's the turkey leftovers I've been eating for three days, but still something I'm going to continue to ponder.
Sarah and I attempted a walk yesterday, only lasted about 15 minutes...it was freezing. I brought my camera along to take some pictures of her, she is just way too cute and getting way too old!

Just the cutest! And FYI, Friday we find out if this Moser house will have three little girls or one boy thrown in the mix!!
Stay tuned...

Seasons

I realized it's been so long since my last blog post, a month and a half to be exact. This season in my life is full of busyness. I can't make heads or tails whether I'm coming or going. Dave and I pass each other and sometimes I realize I haven't talked to him in days.
Thanksgiving is tomorrow and we have family to visit. I have a goal to sit down tonight or later this weekend and share some pictures with you and a little update of all our busyness.
Hope you come back and visit!
Cheers!

5.5

It's been way too long! I thought it appropriate to update my blog on Sarah's 5 1/2 birthday! She is so excited that she's officially a half, she wanted to know how it happened so fast, you and me both sister!

It has been an amazing summer (minus the flu that I just got over). We've been to Charlotte to visit family and friends--we so miss them! Dave is rockin' out in our church band, couldn't be more proud of him for stepping out and doing what God has called him to do. Had our first family photo session completed and loved it!! Attended graduations parties, birthday parties and family picnics. And Katie started crawling and hasn't looked back, she loves being able to chase her sister around the house.

I am experiencing a new relationship with God! I had been talking about it for a long time and now it is happening. I have hope, faith, joy, passion and love. It's such an exciting time for me and my family. I cannot wait to see what our future holds. I believe God can answer my huge prayers, not only can He but He wants to. Dave and I saw a title of a book called "Anything" (you have to check this out!) and it has caused me to believe that I can pray for God to have me do ANYTHING and I don't have to be nervous...I can be/am excited. I'll keep you updated as the blessings unfold.

What's my blog without photos...

Unpacking

We just got home from a week stay at the B&B.  I hate unpacking and getting settled back into the swing of things.  I have so much to catch up on and start!  So, this post is a little short and boring.
My brother is in town from NY, he has been accepted into the graduate program at CUNY and will start classes in August.  Very proud of my little Uncle Johnny!
Mom was here over the weekend, she got to take Sarah to see The Lorax.  Still no word from the doctor and pathologists, we're getting just a little annoyed.
I am creating a few treats to sell at Bills Place, will keep you posted on the final choices.
And, Grocery Gopher got a gig shopping for Ringling Brother Barnum & Bailey Circus this week.  The elephants are performing an eating contest as part of their act and I am purchasing/delivering all of the produce.  Super exciting!!!

That's all for now, picture update to come soon.

Talk Ain't Cheap

I've discovered this phenomenon recently...it takes a lot of effort to maintain a relationship.  It doesn't really cost you anything to pick up the phone and call someone, unless you don't have a cell phone and you're still paying for long distance...who does that?!  But, it does require your time.  To me, it would sometimes be easier to pay a "relationship" bill rather than putting in the time to maintain that relationship.
During this time of chaos with the new baby I will try to maintain those relationships which are important to me.  I prefer handwritten notes, how do you stay in touch?

My First Time

Yup, it's my first time posting a blog.  It's taken me months to think of a title for my blog and I still don't think I'm happy with it!  I want to write this blog because I really want to get away from posting on Facebook, anyone else feel this way?  I've been following blogs for a little over a year, I have some favorites and will share those with you soon.  I feel like some of the bloggers I follow could be my best friend; actually, I wish they were.  I can get wrapped up for hours reading other peoples posts, I hope you soon have that problem with mine.
