The Threat

Well, Sarah will be five next month and today she threatened to move out!  Not only did she threaten it, she actually left the house with a map in her hand.  It all started with her cheating at "Catch the Butterflies" and I calling her out on it.  After throwing the net at me, she began to tell me she was leaving.  Sarah was moving out and I was only going to have one child, she was moving to her friend Olivia's house.  So, as any good mom would do, I offered to draw a map to her destination.  Well, she really surprised me...she put on her coat, said good-bye, and walked out with her map.After laughing about it for a minute I got up to see where she was.

To my surprise she was walking down the driveway.

Then making her way down the road, all while reading her map!

I was so shocked that she would actually walk that far.  Three houses later I ran outside and called her back in.  She came walking back asking "what?" like I forgot to give her a parting gift.  When we got in the house and I told her she can't really go, all hell broke loose!

Sarah was so upset that I was only joking about allowing her to move out, she thought I was serious and was really ticked that I wasn't.  After a lot of tears (from her), I finally convinced her that she has to stay with us.

Oh the drama!  And to think...we have another girl to go through all of this with.
